Playing house..

This last weekend George, Kimmy and I played house. Kacey and Bobby went to Aspen for a wedding and we got the chance to babysit Sawyer and Saylor (I told them we would only babysit if we got really cool gifts jk). My Dad and Kam were gone hunting. We took Saylor and Isaac to the Zoo and we had a really good time. Actually I am lying. Hogle Zoo is the WORST zoo. DEAR UTAH, you have 1 zoo. Do you think you can actually have animals next time? Every cool animal wasn't there. Do all the animals take naps at the same time? At least Saylor and Isaac got what they really wanted..an overpriced blue and green slushy. George and I went on plenty of walks and spent time at the park with the kids. I didn't wear a lot of makeup, and spent a lot of time in workout clothes all weekend but I will have to say it made me love George and my mom even more. They were so patient and loving to the kids. It was a good example for me. Because life can get so stressful with kids and it's easy to loose sight of yourself and what's important.
George, date night soon okay?!?!

* For some reason as I was writing this blog entry I was thinking about the first time George met Isaac and my parents. I invited him and his friends (who conveniently didn't show up ) over for Sunday dinner. By this time George and I were still just friends but I was sure I had a big crush on him.Isaac had been snacking ALL day. Fast forward to dinner. Isaac had just barely turned 3. He was being silly and cute putting olives on his fingers and eating them. Well he began to choke on one... DING!!! Throw up everywhere. Mortified, I jumped to get Isaac and George without hesitation starting cleaning Isaac up and re assuring him that he was okay. THAT is the kind of person he is and one of the reasons I fell in love with him.

I HEART HIM!!!

I like these little jems too!

Not usually a Redken fan but I loove Satinwear Blow-dry gloss

It's so true how easy it is to let the Mommy stress be a distraction. I think all Moms can relate to that and Hogle Zoo really does need to step it up. :)
